The FP 150 series is based on a 5-diaphragm design that combines the advantages of diaphragm pump technology with the benefits of gear pump technology. The FP 150 diaphragm liquid pump series is self-priming, safe to run dry and at the same time the very low pulsation level makes secondary measures to avoid pulsing superfluous. Depending on the system set-up and speed, the values at the pump outflow at nominal flow rate are below 150 mbar, meaning that sensitive media are transferred gently.
Features & Benefits
These are the main advantages of the FP 150 diaphragm liquid pump series:
- Low pulsation
- Excellent linearity
- Self-priming and can run dry
- Gentle conveying of sensitive media
- Long lifetime, no maintenance
- Able to transfer aggressive media
- IP 65
Your advantages when using a liquid pump with smooth flow technology
The FP 150 liquid pump series is based on a multi-diaphragm technology with a 5-diaphragm design. This has the advantage that by interlacing the flow and the pulses generated by each of the 5 diaphragms, a very high and yet smooth flow is achieved in the diaphragm liquid pump. This helps to efficiently transfer liquids through long tubing with smaller diameters, since smooth flow pumps reduce pressure loss. It also minimizes vibration of the tubes, which can be bothersome to the process. Thanks to very low pump pulsation, they enable an efficient and gentle flow of high liquid volumes. Due to this the FP 150 series is part of the KNF smooth flow pump series.
Possible Areas of Use
The KNF FP 150 diaphragm liquid pump series is ideal for these applications for two reasons: Firstly, they handle fluids very gently, ensuring that their specific characteristics do not change. Secondly, they can handle chemically aggressive or abrasive media, e.g., ink containing particles with ease. This is important in terms of service life and reliability.

The Right Fit for Your Need
The FP 150 diaphragm liquid pump series consists of two versions: the FP 150 as standard version and the FP 1.150 as high pressure version. Both pumps are maintenance-free diaphragm liquid pumps with minimal pulsation and shearing force.

What makes the FP 150 Diaphragm Liquid Pump Series Outstanding
Another winning feature of the FP 150 diaphragm liquid pump series is the infinitely adjustable flow rate with outstanding linearity between 10 and 100 percent. Also outstanding for the FP 150 diaphragm liquid pump series is the aesthetic black design with clear lines and flow direction. This supports not only modern appearance but it is also easy to clean.
Thanks to the modular system, the FP 150 series is available in a range of different versions. With a choice of EPDM, PTFE or FFKM diaphragms, the pump can be equipped for applications involving very aggressive media.
