With digitalization comes rapid change. Anyone who doesn’t want to be left behind by digital progress has to keep pace, or – even better – always be one step ahead. Change also brings great opportunity, after all. Digitalization is making tasks more complex while simultaneously shortening processes. Higher expectations are constantly placed on managers and employees alike. The classical leadership model of “the boss decides and the team executes” is no longer in keeping with the times because it does not fully harness the potential of the staff. Experts and persons with unique skill sets are the key productive forces today.
