OEM Sales Engineer - Midlands
As part of the family owned, international KNF Group. KNF UK based in Witney, Oxfordshire are responsible for providing technical sales and outstanding customer service for our world leading range of diaphragm liquid and gas pumps throughout the UK and Ireland.
We are looking for: OEM SALES ENGINEER – Midlands
The ideal candidate must combine technical knowledge with sales skills and experience to provide advice and support on our range of OEM Liquid and Gas Diaphragm pumps to customers in B2B markets to facilitate sales. Customers are typically from high tech sectors such as medical, analytical, environmental and reprographics industries. The ideal candidate will be a key point of contact for customers and provide technical solutions to their applications. The candidate will work regularly with other members of UK team together with colleagues from our international production centres.
Searching for new leads and maximising customer potential in designated area.
Developing long-term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their pump requirements.
Providing customer quotations and negotiating terms.
Development of customised technical solutions for customer applications in cooperation with KNF Product centres.
Meeting sales targets for the area.
Supporting marketing activities by participating at trade fairs etc.
Participation in KNF group projects when required.
- 3+ years’ experience as a sales engineer for technical products.
- Engineering background an advantage.
- Experience working with CRM and MS Office tools.
- Willingness to travel and hold a full UK driving licence.
- High degree of flexibility.
- High level of initiative.
- Skilled in leading discussions.
- Independent way of working.
- Team player and able to work under pressure.
