Smooth Flow KNF Pumps on Display at ADLM 2024
KNF will present a range of gas and liquid diaphragm pumps for clinical diagnostics, including new low pulsation, Smooth Flow options.
ADLM (formerly AACC) 2024, a leading tradeshow for clinical diagnostics experts, will take place July 29 to August 1 at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago. KNF will be at booth 5247, featuring a variety of gas and liquid diaphragm pumps ideal for tasks like liquid transfer, waste handling, degassing, washing, recirculation, and many more.
Smooth Flow for Diagnostics Applications
Smooth Flow technology will be front and center, as KNF will feature the new FP 7 and FP 25 diaphragm liquid pump series. These pumps offer extremely low pulsation while also offering outstanding performance. They reach flow rates of 0.07 l/min and 0.25 l/m respectively, with both versions offering a maximum pressure of 14.5 psig (1 bar (rel.)). The FP 7 features a maximum suction height of 2 mH2O, while the FP 25 reaches a maximum suction height of 3 mH2O. High pressure versions achieve up to 87 psig (6 bar (rel)). All versions are self-priming, run-dry safe and available with a variety of motor options.
Both the FP 7 and FP 25 are available with a variety of valve and diaphragm options, making them suitable for use with aggressive or corrosive liquids. This is critical for clinical diagnostics applications like liquid transfer and waste handling, where these media types are common. They are also incredibly quiet, an important feature in clinical lab environments, while still providing high-end performance.
New Diaphragm Gas Pump Technology
KNF will also present the NMP 820, the latest in diaphragm gas pump technology. It transfers and compresses gases and vapors without contaminating media and offers oil-free operation, which is ideal for degassing applications. The NMP 820 has a maximum flow rate of 2.1 l/min, with maximum pressure of 17.4 psig (1.2 bar (rel.)) and an ultimate vacuum down to 20.3 in. HG (330 mbar (abs.)). The 820.1.2 version achieves a maximum flow rate of 3.5 l/min, with maximum pressure of 17.4 psig (1.2 bar (rel.)) and an ultimate vacuum of 27.0 in. HG (100 mbar (abs.)). It offers excellent reliability alongside a high performance-to-size ratio.
The NMP 820 is available with both DC and brushless DC motors. It offers some of KNF’s quietest operations without sacrificing performance, making it ideal for a variety of clinical diagnostics applications. It is also a strong choice for analytical instruments, gas analytics and a variety of laboratory and medical equipment. This state-of-the-art diaphragm gas pump is available with a variety of head configurations, allowing for performance specially tailored to specific applications.
