b-on-foot aqua: hygienic and soothing manicure and pedicure

The b-on-foot aqua electric drill with water spray system enables a quick, easy and gentle removal of callus and dead skin. The motorized handpiece drives the file and drill bits for filing, cleaning and polishing nails.

A special feature for foot health practitioners and pedicurists: The device can be controlled via smartphone or voice commands, allowing the users to focus on the actual treatment. This is not just convenient, but also more hygienic because users do not have to touch the device surface.

Voice control works reliably even when users are wearing a medical face mask.

To enable mobile manicures and pedicures (e.g., in the hospital, retirement or nursing home), the entire series is available in battery-powered versions. This also makes treatment easier – with no bothersome cables in the way, freedom of movement is ensured.

KNF liquid pump and oil-free compressor for water spray system

The b-on-foot aqua devices feature a water spray system which sprays a fine mist of distilled water on the skin and nails during treatment. Dead skin from filed off calluses is washed down, preventing it from being inhaled or settling as dust particles. This constitutes a huge advantage in terms of hygiene and user protection.

The water cools the skin during treatment, enhancing the soothing wellness effect.

The water spray system involves two KNF pumps: one FMM 20 liquid pump and one NMP 830.1.2 compressor.

KNF liquid pump for distilled water spray system

An FMM 20 diaphragm liquid pump has been tailored to Bahner’s needs and functions as a water spray pump. It transfers distilled water from the water tank located above the pump into the handpiece, which is connected to the b-on-foot aqua with a hose. The user can adjust the amount of water supplied by the water spray pump via voice command, with ten different intensities to choose from.

The KNF FMM 20 liquid pump offers the major benefit of starting suction very quickly and having the distilled water ready to be sprayed within seconds.

KNF’s FMM 20 liquid pump is ideal for water spray systems by allowing the transfer of distilled water within seconds and fine adjustment of the flow rate.

Oil-free KNF compressor sprays and cools

A second KNF pump, the NMP 830.1.2 micro gas pump, has also been tailored to Bahner’s products and functions as a compressor, eliminating the need for an external compressed air supply. This makes the pedicure tool (with battery and integrated compressor) portable and completely self-sufficient.

The oil-free compressor turns the distilled water supplied by the spray pump into a fine mist  at the tip of the handpiece, creating extremely fine droplets that perfectly absorb dead skin particles. The quality of the spray has an effect on the client’s experience: The finer the droplets, the more pleasant they feel on the skin.

As the compressed air flows through the inside of the handpiece, it also efficiently dissipates the heat and the handpiece remains at a comfortable temperature for the user.

To help Bahner achieve the high treatment quality and user-friendliness the company is striving for, KNF has fine tuned the compressor to the application. Shock absorbers minimize vibrations and noise and the the pump’s frequency can be adjusted optimally by the pump motor’s control voltage.

The compressor is double-headed, has a high flow rate and is oil-free, making the pump odorless and highly hygienic.

The sophisticated, user-optimized design and high-quality components that were specially tailored to b-on-foot aqua make this pedicure device universal and portable, setting a new standard in cosmetic spa treatment.

The oil-free KNF NMP 830.1.2 compressor serves as self-sufficient compressed air supplier for Bahner’s b-on-foot aqua series nail drill and pedicure tools. The high-performance compressor turns distilled water into a fine mist, producing ultra-fine droplets at the tip of the handpiece.
