What is your role?

Are you a motivated and inquisitive starter looking for a new challenge in an international setting? As Sales Engineer Inside at KNF, you are responsible for the efficient and effective implementation of the purchasing, sales and logistics process for the sales department. Working in a close team, you will be involved in the sales process from start to finish.  You will be trained internally to become a Field Sales Engineer, where you will personally visit customers and independently advise them on the right solutions. Together with your colleagues, you will focus on various and diverse customer requests and ensure that all internal processes run smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for customers and managing inbound and outbound communications via email, phone, website and teams.
  • Preparing quotations and responding to inquiries
  • Ordering pumps and spare parts
  • Following up on existing customer relationships
  •  Collaborate with customers to identify technical solutions
  • Finalizing orders and monitoring their transfer to the logistics department.
  • Maintaining technical information, documentation and price lists required for market-driven quotations.
  • Keeping conclusive records relating to sales and maintaining relevant information in the CRM system.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and trade fairs.

Who are you?

  • You have an MBO/HBO level of work & thinking level and a love of engineering or a technical background. (This position is particularly suitable for recent graduates or school leavers!)
  • You are proactive, able to work well independently and take responsibility
  • You have excellent communication and commercial skills
  • You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages, both verbally and in writing. (German is an advantage)
  • You work meticulously and accurately
  • You have the ambition to grow into a field sales engineer and learn the tricks of the trade.
