Elena & KNF

My start at KNF began with the work on my bachelor's thesis for my degree in “Communication and Media Management” at the University of Applied Sciences for Technology and Economics in Karlsruhe.

As a technical editor, I create and manage the technical documentation that is supplied to our customers along with our products. Typical examples are our customer documentation and user manuals. Creating this technical documentation is the biggest part of my daily tasks.

I work closely with my colleagues in Product Development during the creation process. I research information about the products and use this information to create the documentation in our content management system. Conducting a usability test, in which we test various customer scenarios, also provides me with a good basis for creating user-friendly documentation.

One of my biggest projects at KNF was the selection and implementation of a content management system, which we are now using successfully.

KNF is when teamwork and trust make the job perfect.

In order to get to know the trends and developments in technical documentation and to be in closer contact with other technical writers, I started a part-time master's degree program. It was my conscious decision to do a part-time Master's program at KNF. The positive working environment, the collegial atmosphere and the team spirit are very important to me. I have always received a lot of support and a lot of encouragement on my journey at KNF so far. These positive experiences have strengthened and encouraged me to see my future career at KNF.
