When consistent flow is key, KNF’s Flow Control makes running a liquid pump easy and reliable. Thanks to an integrated sensor enabling closed looped control, the diaphragm pump adjusts its motor speed to match the desired setpoint under changing conditions. This includes external factors, like changes in backpressure or media temperature, as well as internal factors, like potential pump performance degradation at the end of its service cycle.
The integrated flow sensor has been carefully tailored to the pump and delivers all data directly to the built-in pump control, resulting in high setpoint accuracy. This makes the new pumps particularly well suited for metering and dosing applications where high accuracy is essential. The sensor uses ultra sonic flow meter technology, allowing it to avoid contact with the media. This offers superior leak-tightness and enables the transfer of almost any liquid including aggressive, corrosive, and sensitive media.

Flexible Connectivity Enables Easy System Integration
Pumps with intelligent features offer several options for seamless system integration. They can be pre-programmed by KNF to operate autonomously within the customer system, or they can communicate via state-of-the-art communication interfaces and protocols for input and output data.
