KNF uses several technical solutions to achieve outstanding leak-tightness. This includes the use of pumps with O-ring seals as well as offering pump head material options that ensure a tight seal in combination with high-precision pump head machining. Like all KNF pumps, every sealed pump is tested for maximum reliability before shipping. Depending on the customer specifications or regulatory requirements, different test methods can be selected, including highly precise helium leak testing.

KNF offers leak-tight pumps for many applications in various sizes and different performance parameters. The flow rates range from 2.6 to 250 l/min. For maximum pressure, up to 12 bar (rel.) can be achieved and vacuum generation is possible down to 0.5 mbar (abs.). In addition to being leak-tight, these pumps come with various customization options and accessories to make them the perfect fit for their target application.

The Safe Option: Secondary Diaphragm for Added Protection
Some applications require maximum safety even in the most unlikely events. For this reason, KNF offers the option for an additional safety diaphragm to many of the low leakage pumps. This secondary diaphragm prevents media loss even in the unlikely event of a rupture or puncture of the working diaphragm.
