Based in the Haut-Rhin region of France, the site is part of a family-owned group of German origin with multiple sites around the world (factories and sales subsidiaries).
 

We are looking for our :

 

Planning and Scheduling Officer (M or F)
 

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will order, plan and monitor production orders. You will be responsible for organising production according to the availability of equipment and production capacity, while complying with processes, production requirements (lead times, quality, etc.), available manpower and safety rules.
 

In practical terms, your duties will include :
 

  • Managing production orders for production units,
     
  • Assessing production capacity, ensuring optimum distribution of the workload in the production units and constantly adjusting schedules to take account of unforeseen circumstances (delays, technical incidents, etc.),
     
  • Forward short, medium and long-term production schedules to the production units,
     
  • Measuring differences between actual production and estimated forecasts,
     
  • Reporting to line management and, in particular, informing the Production Manager of production potential (workload, capacity, output) and available human resources.

     

You have a good knowledge of SAP or a similar ERP (production management). You are familiar with IT tools (Pack Office) and have a good command of Excel.
 

You are particularly organised, methodical and rigorous. You have the ability to judge rationally, with common sense and intuition.
 

You are autonomous and reliable, with good interpersonal skills and a taste for teamwork.
